21/05/2025 – The Speech Paragons proudly represented Uganda as part of a delegation to the East African World Schools Debate Championship hosted from 8th-12th May 2025 at the United States International University-Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. The prestigious event was organized by the African Debate Academy and brought together talented speakers from across the region, including Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, and Zimbabwe.

Making their maiden appearance on the international stage, the Speech Paragons delivered a performance that exceeded all expectations on the final tab as follows:

Ayebare Rodney – Best Overall Speaker on tab
Kiyaga Hildred – 3rd Best Speaker
Anuo Doreen – 4th Best Speaker
Amoya Leticia – 6th Best Speaker
Bukenya Hussein – 7th Best Speaker
Debate Institute Africa (DIA) – Best Institution

These results mark not just a strong debut, but a statement of intent. The Paragons have proven that with the right support and belief, Ugandan speakers will confidently compete and lead on international platforms.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Paragons, their supportive parents, dedicated coaches, and everyone who has contributed to this initiative. We are raising a generation of leaders, and your collective effort is the very reason for this success.
