    Our team faced a challenging debate against Nepal, discussing the merits of strict state secularism.
  • Round 2: Uganda vs Croatia
    Motion: This House Prefers a world where Truth and Reconciliation Commissions were established to deal with the aftermath of the Yugoslav Wars rather than the ICTY.
    Result: LOSS (1:2)
    The debate against Croatia was intense, with our team narrowly missing a win.
  • Round 3: Uganda vs Turkey
    Motion: This House Would ban sports betting.
    Result: WIN (3:0)
    Our team secured a decisive victory against Turkey, showcasing their strong argumentation skills.
  • Round 4: Uganda vs Tanzania
    Motion: This House Believes That New Age wellness culture has done more harm than good.
    Result: WIN (3:0)
    Another impressive win for Uganda, defeating Tanzania with a unanimous decision.
  • Round 5: Scotland vs Uganda
    Motion: This House Believes That major tourist destinations should significantly limit the number of tourists that can visit.
    Result: LOSS (0:3)
    Despite a well-fought debate, our team was bested by Scotland in this round.
  • Round 6: Uganda vs Denmark
    Motion: This House Would introduce a governmental basic income for all artists, rather than offering governmental fellowships and grants to certain artists upon application.
    Result: WIN (3:0)
    Our team bounced back with a strong win against Denmark, arguing persuasively for a governmental basic income for artists.

With 3 wins and a total of 10 ballots so far, our team is gearing up for the final two decisive rounds today:

  • Round 7: This House supports France’s exit from West Africa.
  • Round 8: Motion to be announced.
