Task: In 3 minutes, Pitch a commercial product of your choice to a consortium of African billionaires.

 Expectation: Be persuasive, be visionary, and sell the idea as if the future depends on it. Understand your audience and tailor your speech to them

Task: In 3 minutes, you’ll be required to deliver a short speech on a surprise/impromptu topic. Numbered prompts will be provided to the judge and the speaker gets to pick one at random based on the number chosen.

 Expectation: Think fast, speak clearly, and show you can organize your thoughts under pressure. You will have one minute of preparation time. 

Task: Deliver a 3-minute challenge speech urging your community to take up a simple commitment: planting one tree every month. Convince them that this small, personal act done consistently and collectively can spark a powerful, leaderless environmental movement that transforms society. 

Expectation: Make your speech relatable and engaging for your audience. End with a clear, direct challenge to the audience: “Will you plant your tree this month?”. Do not just state the phrase, but let your conclusion work towards the it.

Task: In 3 minutes, use a personal story to deliver heartwarming speech inspiring students to practice one small act of kindness each day, showing how this ripple effect could create a leaderless movement of compassion and solidarity.

Expectation: Speak from the heart. link your story to the purpose of the task. Make proper use of emotional depth and allow your audience to feel it.
