Gracious Ewach Faith is a Christian, Global Health Nutritionist, YALI Alumna, Poet, and Youth Leader whose journey blends expertise in public health with a passion for empowering young people. Based in Uganda, she has carved a reputation as a nutrition innovator, debate mentor, and youth advocate, working at the intersection of health, education, and leadership.
Professional Journey
Currently, Gracious serves as a Youth Representative with the World Food Forum (since May 2025), where she brings young voices into global conversations on food security and nutrition. Parallel to this, she is a Programs Associate at Debate Institute Africa (since December 2023), contributing to initiatives like the International Schools Speech & Debate League (ISSDL)—a platform nurturing Africa’s next generation of orators and leaders .
In 2025, she briefly served as a Nutrition Consultant with the U.S. Mission Uganda, leading a 10-week wellness challenge that promoted healthy lifestyles. She also held the role of Business Development Manager at Read Us Africa (2023–2024), strengthening networks for youth-led innovation .
Entrepreneurship & Leadership
Gracious is the Founder of Gen Rwot Nutrition Hub (since 2023), a community-based initiative in Apac, Northern Uganda, dedicated to improving health and nutrition outcomes. Alongside this, she is also Director of Gen Rwot Enterprises Ltd (since 2018), where she has applied entrepreneurial skills to create impact-driven opportunities in her home region .
Her leadership roots trace back to her university days. She served as National Coordinator for the Uganda University Debate President’s Council (2022–2023) and as President of the Lira University Debate Society (2022–2023). These roles reflect her strong belief in the power of debate and dialogue to shape civic-minded leaders .
Education
Gracious holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Lira University (2020–2023). She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Global Health Nutrition at Victoria University (2023–2025), further deepening her expertise in nutrition and public health.
In addition, she completed a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation in Global Health at the University of Washington (2025), equipping her with critical skills for program design and impact measurement .
