Debate Institute Africa (DIA) is proud to announce that our esteemed Founder will be engaging in a crucial discussion on Africa’s ongoing immigration challenges, exploring lessons for the continent’s youth. This topic, analyzed in a recent report titled “Africa’s Immigration Crisis: Lessons for the Youth to Pick,” emphasizes the rising risks and complex socio-political dynamics that come with the increasing outflow of African youth searching for better opportunities abroad.

The World Economic Forum Global Risks Report 2024 highlights involuntary migration among the top ten risks facing global citizens over the next decade, stressing the urgency of addressing this issue from a Pan-African perspective .

Through this engagement, DIA reinforces its commitment to public discourse as a Pan-African institution. Our initiatives actively promote dialogue, collaboration, and unity among diverse African communities, reflecting core Pan-African ideals of solidarity and shared identity. Our programs encompass debate competitions, international exchanges, and resource-sharing initiatives, building a platform for cross-cultural understanding and cooperation that strengthens bonds between African nations.

This engagement goes beyond addressing immediate challenges—it is about empowering Africa’s youth with the insights and skills they need to drive change from within. The immigration crisis impacts not only those who leave but also the communities they leave behind, calling for sustainable, locally-driven solutions. By joining Youth Lenzz Africa on this discussion, we aim to deepen our collective understanding of the immigration landscape, encouraging Africa’s youth to see themselves as pivotal actors in shaping a unified, empowered, and progressive continent. Through collaboration and dialogue, we believe Africa’s future can be shaped by the shared dreams and aspirations of its youth, paving the way for a resilient and inclusive continent.
